8-Week Spring 2025 Afterschool Program
Earth Within Girls helps girls develop skills in hormonal literacy, plant wisdom and floral art while building friendships and confidence. Girls will create weekly DIY self-care remedies with plants to place in their take home 'moon baskets' that they will have access to whenever they need a little extra love. As Spring unfolds, girls will familiarize themselves with native and non-native plants and ethical foraging. They will leave the program with skills in how to make honey infusions, body care products, flower crowns and how to track their bodies natural cycles while tuning into the cues of nature!
Open To: Ages 8 - 12 (Girls and non-binary students)
When: Thursday's, April 10th through May 29th, 2:30pm-4:00pm
Where: Jeanette Rankin Peace Center (519 S Higgins Ave) for Indoor Meetups (Outdoor Location TBA Weather Permitting)
