Thank you for your interest in participating!
Earth Within Girls is excited to announce our 2nd Annual Fundraising Art Auction event happening Friday, March 7th at the Confluence Center in Downtown Missoula. Our theme this year is: "Blooming Bodies."
The call for art submissions is open now until January 31st.
Step into our world where women embrace the rhythms of nature, and where cyclical empowerment takes root in the exploration of plant wisdom and self- and community-care at Earth Within Girls' Annual Art Auction Fundraiser. The immersive experience of our March First Friday reception will allow attendees to intimately engage with the showcased art. The online auction will conclude on Monday evening, March 10th! The art will be available for viewing through the entire month at the Confluence Center until March 28th.
We look forward to gathering our community for an evening of libations, silent auction, dance party, and opportunities to connect in celebration of women!
Why Make Art to Support Earth Within Girls?:
Earth Within Girls (EWG) offers nature-based hormonal literacy educational programs for adolescent girls and non-binary students. Our mission is to empower our students to connect their internal cycles using western and Indigenous plant-based tools to support self-care. EWG provides a safe atmosphere for our students to engage in dialogue around cyclical wellness and body awareness. With your generous support, we will expand our scholarships for BIPOC and low income students to join our after-school, summer programs, and work within Soft Landing Missoula’s girls groups.
Your Expression Matters:
Art possesses an extraordinary ability to celebrate and amplify the essence of women. Through diverse mediums we see beauty, strength, connection, and resilience inherent to the female and nonbinary experience.
We deeply value your participation in this event, and artists of all abilities are welcome!
We warmly invite artists to contribute 50, 75, or 100% of the proceeds from their artwork sales to Earth Within Girls. Your donation will fuel our mission to further bring nature-based learning and hormonal literacy into the classroom to give the young girls in our community a space to connect, inspire, and learn to honor their bodies as a part of the natural world.
